About Saying Goodbye
***Saying Goodbye is now available for pre-order***
Childhood sweethearts, Michael and Erica, thought they would have the prefect life together—the career, the house, the kids, the grandkids, the dying old holding each other’s hands. What they hadn’t planned for was for a car accident to take Michael’s life and leave Erica to face her future alone.
However, after discovering that Michael’s spirit has the ability to occasionally interact with the human world, they begin to wonder if they can’t make his presence on Earth permanent.
Although, with so many years gone by, can they reignite the flame that had fueled their teenage romance and more importantly can they live with the sacrifices they must make in order get back the future they lost?
7-20-15 -- Okay, I finished the audio version of Shifter and am now waiting on ACX to approve the file before it can go on sale. I started a new novella. I know, I know, I should be working on OUTCAST, and I promise that I will be working on it this week since I'm nearly finished with my latest read-through of Saying Goodbye. Speaking of, here is a snippet from the novella. #sayinggoodbye #jenniferreynolds #paranormallovestory #wip
7-17-15 -- I'm home in bed with what I'm sure is a sinus headache. I've run a load of laundry and read two chapters of Saying Goodbye since I got up at 630 this morning, but that is all I've done aside from nap. Here is a snippet from what I managed to read today. #sayinggoodbye #paranormallovestory #jenniferreynolds #wip
7-16-15 -- I worked a little on Outcast last night, but not enough to share anything from what I wrote. Maybe today I'll get to write more. I have ready two more chapters of Saying Goodbye. Here is a look at what I read. #sayinggoodbye #jenniferryenolds #wip
7-15-15 -- I finished listening to Shifter yesterday. We have to make one minor change, then I'll be ready to set the on-sale date. I've been talking to No Sweat Graphics by Rachel A Olso about the cover for Resistant. It is awesome. I can't wait to show you guys. I'm a little over half-way through Saying Goodbye. I'm not changing much, so I think I'll be able to set a release date for it at the end of the month. To tide you over, here is a snippet from the last chapter I read today:
7-13-15 -- I'm nearly finished with the audio version of Shifter. I'm so loving this version of the novel. I also read through 2 chapter of Saying Goodbye today. I'm going to try to work on Outcast a little later, but I'm not sure if I'll have the time. Here is a snippet from Saying Goodbye. #sayinggoodbye #paranormallovestory #wip
7-10-15 -- I read a few more chapters of Saying Goodbye. As much as I love this novel, I can't wait to get back to writing Outcast. That little taste of what I wrote yesterday has me itching to get back to the novel. Here is a snippet from Saying Goodbye.
7-9-15 -- Still listening to the audio version of Shifter and reading through Saying Goodbye. I finished part 1 of thSaying Goodbye today. Here is a snippet from what I've read. #SayingGoobye #snippet #wip #paranormallovestory
7-8-15 -- Listening to the audio version of Shifter, talking to an artist about the cover for Resistant, and reading through Saying Goodbye. I'm tired, but feel productive. I hate that I'm not writing, but I hope to get back to that soon. Here is a small excerpt from Saying Goodbye for you guys.
7-6-15 -- Read through chapters four and five of part of Saying Goodbye. The story is still breaking my heart. Here is a snippet of the last chapter I read/tweaked.
7-3-15 -- I finished the last my editor's notes for Saying Goodbye. I hope to start my next read-through of the novel Monday. I'm hoping to get back to writing Outcast then as well. I wanted to do some writing this weekend, but with the holiday, it doesn't look as if that will happen. I did love this note from my editor. It has helped inspire me to get back to work as soon as possible.
7-1-15 -- I finished part 2 of Saying Goodbye with my editor's notes. No other writing today because I had few sections to rework in Saying Goodbye. Maybe I'll write something tomorrow. I love how honest my editors are to me when they don't like something. Check out this note that spurred me to rework a few things.
6-30-15 -- No writing today, but I did go through six chapters full of my editor's notes. My brain is fried. I truly hope to get back to writing tomorrow. Here is a cool little note my editor left me at the end of the last chapter I worked on.
6-29-15 -- These last few days have been crazy. My amazing grandmother came into town to see me Friday, I had the Helen Keller Author Festival Saturday, which she stayed for, and then Sunday I went to a birthday breakfast for my best friend Candace and a baby shower for my new niece Lyric Athena (Although my sister-n-law's grandmother says it is a boy despite what the ultrasound says and she is never wrong. I'm hoping for a girl. We have too many boys in this family.) With all that is g...oing on I haven't written or edited anything since last Thursday until today, and all I've managed to do today is work on a few more chapters full of notes from my editor. I'm hoping to get back to writing Wednesday. I'm taking a three day weekend, so I'll be working extra hours to make up for the time off, which means I have to put off writing for a few more days. Here is the note my editor left me at the end of part 1 of Saying Goodbye, which I finished today.
12-17-15 -- We are getting close to Saying Goodbye's release date. You know what that means, more Saying Goodbye excerpts. :) :) Here is another one from chapter one.
11-27-15 -- I finally sent the synopsis of Saying Goodbye off to my editor. I'll share it with you guys as soon as we have a draft we both love. My goal is to send the novel to my betas this weekend or early next week. I'm still shooting for a January 2016 release month. For now, here is the first two paragaraphs of the novel for you to enjoy. #jenniferreynolds #sayinggoodbye #paranormal #lovestory
11-18-15 -- I'm done with Saying Goodbye. Tomorrow I'll start woring on the synopsis and trailer. The book is already on Goodreads, but with very little information. I even have it as a draft on Amazon waiting to go on preorder. I'll be sending the novel off to my betas after Thanksgiving. In the meantime, enjoy this excerpt.
I'm still working on my last read-through of Saying Goodbye. I only have a few more chapters to finish. I'm hoping to be done by Wednesday. In the meantime, here is a snippet for you. #jenniferreynolds #sayinggoodbye #paranormal #lovestory
I'm still steadily working through Saying Goodbye. I'm nearing the end of part 2. Once I finish my read-through, I'll start working on the synopsis and trailer, then send it off to my betas. I've managed not to cry my eyes out through this read-through, but just barely. You guys are going to love this love story. Here is a little snippet for you all. #jenniferreynolds #sayinggoodbye #lovestory
